Welcome
The Hyde Away Inn and Restaurant is a farmstead, circa 1824, located in the Mad River Valley in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. Nestled between the quaint, historic villages of Waitsfield and Warren, the inn opened New Year’s Day, 1949 as the Ulla Lodge — a comfortable haven with friendly people, good food and a casual tavern where you can relax with friends before turning in for the night in one of our cozy rooms.

When We’re Open
We’re open 7 days a week, starting at 4:00 PM. Food is served in the Tavern, beginning at 4:30 PM and the Dining Room opens at 5:30 PM. We serve food until 10:00 PM nightly. Contact us for more information about lodging, rates, dining, group events, or our historic tavern.
