The Hyde Away Inn is a perfect home base for motorcycles. A casual country inn in the heart of Vermont, The Hyde Away is central to some of the most scenic rides in New England. The inn is located on Route 17 in Waitsfield near the intersection of German Flats Road — just down the hill from Mad River Glen ski area and the Appalachian Gap.

The App-Gap is a very technical ride with 53 turns of the tight radius, hair pin and decreasing radius variety. The scenery is unspoiled and the view from the parking lot at the top is breathtaking.
