Welcome to
The Hyde Away!

The Hyde Away Inn and Restaurant is a farmstead, circa 1824, located in the Mad River Valley in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains. Nestled between the quaint, historic villages of Waitsfield and Warren, the inn is a comfortable haven with friendly people, good food and a casual atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful rural resort areas in Vermont, the Mad River Valley is home to Mad River Glen and Sugarbush Ski Areas.

The Valley has an air of old New England with specialty shops, unique restaurants and delicatessens. And, of course, our friendly country hospitality.

Myself, my two brothers, John, Matt, and my good friend Billy had such a great time there this past weekend (2/2 to 2/5). I wish I had known about your place sooner!!
